Knitting & Cutting
Once the winding process is complete, the finished spools of thread are installed onto our CMS machines, where the thread is knitted into a complex variety of patterns using techniques like flat, circular, jacquard, cable and ajour knitting patterns. At this stage, the majority of the cap knitted panel has been constructed.
Once knitting is completed, the knitted cap is cut with high precision using a Gerber cutter, which is a conveyor system with reciprocating knife technology.
Handwork
& Embellishments
While the knitted cap is being knitted and cut, accessories are being simultaneously hand-made to be attached to the knitted cap upon completion. The addition of rhinestones, tassels and embroidery, along with uniquely crafted pom-poms are some of the many embellishments that can be added to the knitted cap during this stage.
Sewing
& Packing
Lastly, our trained staff sew and stitch the final elements of the knitted cap together. Then the knitted cap is sent for quality assurance where build quality and 100% customer satisfaction is guaranteed. The finished knitted cap is then sent for ironing and packing. All finished products pass through the metal detector and the final quality audit is applied. Proper protection and handling of the packaged knitted cap is guaranteed while being moved to warehousing pending final delivery to our customer.

Dyeing & Winding
The journey of an Eskimo produced knitted cap starts at our Dye House Labs, where dye compounds are skillfully selected by our experienced lab technicians, to ensure consumer and environmental safety. The raw yarn is dyed to the selected colour, dried and then passed on to the Winding section, where hank machines are used to wind the yarn onto threaded spools. These are now ready for processing, knitting and cutting.
